So, what will I be doing?

To lead the successful delivery of digital and technology change across Yeo Valley — ensuring every project and programme delivers high-quality, value-driven outcomes that align with our business strategy and ways of working.

You’ll own the end-to-end delivery of new technology solutions, advance the sequencing and prioritization of the delivery portfolio, and ensure that all solutions meet business, architectural, and quality standards. As a senior leader in the IT function, you’ll provide direction, structure, and confidence to our digital transformation journey — enabling Yeo Valley to grow, simplify, and innovate through technology.

We will need you to work closely with IT Business Partners and senior stakeholders to ensure alignment between business priorities and the delivery pipeline as well Lead supplier and partner relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality delivery and ongoing performance management. Your responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of all digital and technology projects and programmes, from initiation to handover into service.
  • Head the project delivery function, including internal and contract Project Managers, ensuring consistent standards, governance, and capability across the team.
  • Own and maintain the application roadmap, ensuring it aligns with Yeo Valley’s five-year business strategy and broader IT architecture vision.
  • Oversee all technology delivery sequencing, ensuring projects are prioritised and scheduled in alignment with business priorities, dependencies, and resource capacity.
  • Own the overall Digital & Technology Architecture, ensuring solutions are well designed, scalable, and aligned with enterprise principles.
  • Champion delivery quality, owning the definition and enforcement of delivery standards, testing, and assurance across all programmes.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and value delivery, ensuring projects deliver measurable benefits and lessons learned are captured.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the delivery and architecture teams.

Sounds interesting, what do I need?

Essential:

  • Delivering large-scale technology and digital transformation projects from concept to completion
    • Managing multi-disciplinary delivery teams (internal and external).
    • Programme and project management, including portfolio planning and sequencing.
    • Understanding of application architecture, software delivery, and integration.
    • Leading cross-functional initiatives across operations, supply chain, and corporate functions.
    • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills at all levels.

       

      Desirable:

    • Background in manufacturing, FMCG, or supply chain environments.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems (ideally IFS), WMS, MES, and broader digital technologies.
    • Understanding of agile and hybrid delivery methods.
